Ferne Therapy
For the past five years, I’ve supported adults and young people in working through the impact of past experiences, relationships, and trauma. Sometimes our sessions focus on finding closure and understanding, other times on setting goals and moving forward.
What matters most to me is building a safe, supportive relationship where you feel comfortable enough to be open and honest.
From there, we can work together in a way that feels right for you.

What to expect from therapy
My approach is gentle, compassionate, and tailored to each person
I work with.
Sometimes therapy is about understanding the past and how it shapes your present; other times it’s about finding practical tools to move forward. However we work together, I’ll provide a safe and supportive space where you can feel heard without judgment.

Our first session is a chance for you to share what’s been happening and what you hope to gain from therapy. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out - it’s a space to start where you are.

We’ll work together to find a rhythm that suits you, whether that’s a few sessions of focused support or longer-term work.
Sessions last 50 minutes and can take place in person at my therapy room in Barnsley, or online via secure video call.​​
